We are a local 4×4 and Camping store based in Bathurst, NSW.
The owner, Matt, started The 4wd Zone as a hobby way back in 2007 as a website for like minded four wheel drivers to socialise and organise trips. Matt is a bit of a Land Rover tragic, he has a love for everything 4×4 but fell in love with the Green Oval as a kid whilst cruising around in the families Series III Troopy. After finishing high school and university Matt scored his own 4×4 in the shape of a Disco 1 in 2004 and has loved off roading and the outdoors ever since.
Matt’s aim was always to open his own four wheel drive shop and that dream finally came true in the latter half of 2018 when works started on a retail store front.
The main aim of The 4wd Zone is and always will be customer service, whether that be pre-sale or post-sale if you purchase from us you can feel safe in the knowledge that you will always get the royal treatment. Internet shopping has somewhat ruined the customer service experience so we have worked hard to revive it with out online store and we’ll well and truly knock your socks off and go out of our way to make sure you get looked after if you come and see us in person.
Along with great customer service we strive to find and deliver you the best quality products and pass them on to you for the best possible price. We live in such a wasteful society and finding products that will provide you with years of reliable service is important to us. With the opening of our retail store front comes a relationship with Opposite Lock as Bathurst’s exclusive stockist.
